Arts and Sciences: The Mysterious Ways

Art History (Birkbeck) and Math academic Fortunata Callabro will look onto the relationship between mathematic and arts, using examples such the Fibonaccio numbers and golden ratio – also known as the Divine Proportion that inspired notable works of several famous artists and architects, including Le Corbusier, Dalí and Da Vinci.
The talk will be followed by a guided tour of Dhirk Pictural collection with artist and curator joined by Physician Dr Ahmed Tchikou (Southampton University Alumni) who will bring an esoteric discussion on the theme of ‘science and spirituality’.
