Jebena- is traditional Sudanese coffee. Often drank at Shar’ El Neel, or Nile street in Khartoum. This re-creates that beautiful social space. Reminiscent of the English pub coffee cafes in the Middle East can become communal living room.

“Yes. Our house is right on the bank of the Nile, so that when I’m lying on my bed at night I put my hand out of the window and idly play with the Nile waters till sleep overtakes me” pg. 39
