WORKSHOP WITH ARTIST ALAA ALSARAJI
Illustrating Your Sanctuary
Saturday. 19th December 2020 | 13:00 - 14:30
A hands-on drawing illustration workshop allowing you to work with 'Mapping Sanctuaries,' artist Alaa Alsaraji, to create your own illustrations of your personal ‘sanctuaries’.
Please note: Due to updated Covid-19 regulations we'll be capping this event to 6 participants & ask participants to wear their masks as well as practice social distancing within the gallery space during this workshop.
Alaa is a London-based visual artist, designer and creative facilitator. Whilst maintaining her own creative practice through editorial work and exhibitions, she has also worked with various creative and educational organisations as a facilitator delivering creative workshops with children and adults. Throughout her various roles her work always seeks to emphasise the value of using creativity as a pedagogical process to address and explore larger issues such as identity, faith and race.
Due to updated Covid-19 restrictions, we will only have space for 6 participants, in order to meet government guidelines and to allow for adequate social distancing during the event.
