Writings on the Wall
Wednesday 17th July 2019, 18:30 - 20:00
For ordinary Palestinians, the telling of their dispossession and oppression ensures that their stories are not forgotten. In a unique project, the Arab Educational Institute affixed a collection of such testaments to Israel’s apartheid wall in Bethlehem.
These are now preserved and annotated in the new book, Writings on the Wall, to be launched at P21 Gallery on 17 July. A selection of the stories will read by two voices and introduced by Thomas Suárez, who anotated the volume.
