GALLERY TALK | SPOTLIGHT ON PHOTOGRAPHY- Activism Through the Lens
Join us for a captivating evening exploring the power of photography as a tool for activism with acclaimed photographer Wayne Campbell. This special event will begin with an insightful PowerPoint presentation, where Wayne shares his journey and the stories behind his striking images. The night will then transition into an intimate gallery walk and talk, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the emotions, thoughts, and narratives embedded in his work.
A Brixton-born multidisciplinary creative, Wayne discovered his passion for visual activism during the 2020 London protests following the murder of George Floyd. Since then, he has published two photography books, founded the gallery ‘A Celebration of Demonstration’ in Brixton Village, and documented protests worldwide.
With time for questions and conversation in a relaxed setting—plus exclusive access to the exhibition—this is a must-attend event for photography and activism enthusiasts. Located in central London with great local eateries nearby, it’s the perfect way to kick off your weekend.
