We invite you to join our 2nd creative workshop to make a square to be included in the memorial quilt naming and honouring the children killed in Gaza. During this workshop you will design and make a decorative square in remembrance of an individual child using the beautiful and versatile techniques of appliqué, fabric collage and embroidery. No previous experience is needed, and all guidance and materials are provided.

Led by embroiderer Rifqah Tamimi, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn the intricate patterns and traditional cross-stitching techniques that have defined Palestinian identity for millennia.

Join us for a powerful evening of poetry and music featuring readings by actors Khalid Abdalla, Billy Howle, and Palestinian poets Abdelfattah Abusrour, Zena Agha, and Layla Maghribi.
